ASAP provides Asterisk Support which can be a simple installation and configuration or complex deployments. Asterisk can be used as a development platform or bundled with FreePBX® as the user interface.

Supported Distributions

ASAP supports all distributions of Asterisk, but here is a list of the most common distributions and when we recommend using them:

Distribution When to Use
TrixBox Community Edition (CE) It is not recommended to use it. Major security issues and new development is not being done. We recommend migrating to another distribution.
FreePBX® Distribution It is great for simple to complex implementations in an office with no more than 300 extensions
Elastix Distribution We recommend it for call centers or for companies that need to track charges for billing purposes. A2Billing is embedded in this distribution.
PBX in a Flash Distribution It is great for simple to complex implementations in an office with no more than 300 extensions.
AsteriskNow If you plan to use Digium Phones or if you have existing Digium Phones
