ASAP Launches Development of an Innovative System for Managing Military Inventory in Defense

ASAP has officially announced the start of the development of a large-scale integrated information system that will modernize the management of military inventory and logistical support for service personnel in Bulgaria. 

The project focuses on the digitalization of key processes within the defense system, aiming to unify in a single platform the management of warehouses, military stores, deliveries and sales, as well as the individual provisioning of military personnel. The new solution is expected to significantly improve efficiency, transparency, and control over the movement of material resources. 

At the core of the development is the concept of a comprehensive system with a modular architecture, integrating various functionalities – from inventory and supply management to request processing and user administration. The system will also include mechanisms for access control, role management, and information security, aligned with strict security requirements.

Among the key elements of the future solution is the creation of a web-based portal through which military personnel will be able to request and reserve equipment online, check availability, and track their individual limits. This is expected to introduce a new, more convenient, and fully digital service model. 

The system will be built on a modern technological infrastructure that will ensure reliable and continuous operation, high performance, and scalability for future expansion. It is planned to operate in a 24/7 mode and support simultaneous use by hundreds of users, while guaranteeing resilience and data protection.  

The development has strategic importance and is aimed at optimizing supply and inventory management processes within the defense system. Its implementation is expected to support decision-making through access to up-to-date information and real-time analytics, as well as improve the quality of services provided to military personnel.   

With the launch of this project, ASAP takes an important step toward building a modern, efficient, and digitally driven logistics environment in the defense sector.
