Fortinet Launches FortiSOC: Unified AI-Powered Platform for Modern Security Operations
Fortinet has introduced FortiSOC, a new unified Security Operations Center (SOC) platform designed to help organizations streamline and modernize security operations through a single cloud-delivered solution. The platform combines multiple security functions into one SaaS-based environment while leveraging agentic AI to automate investigations, correlate security events, and support response actions.
Built on Fortinet’s established security operations technologies, FortiSOC consolidates critical capabilities including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR), threat intelligence, User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), case management, and AI-powered security operations. By bringing these functions together in a unified platform, Fortinet aims to reduce operational silos and simplify security workflows.
According to Michael Xie, Founder, President, and Chief Technology Officer at Fortinet, security teams are facing increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, growing alert volumes, and fragmented operational environments that are difficult to scale. FortiSOC addresses these challenges by providing a single platform that combines AI-powered automation, integrated workflows, and security best practices inspired by Fortinet’s own global SOC operations.
At the core of the platform is FortiAI-Assist, an AI-driven capability that supports autonomous investigations, AI-generated playbooks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based agent coordination. The solution can analyze alerts across assets, users, and identities, correlate findings using enterprise-wide telemetry and FortiGuard Labs threat intelligence, and recommend or execute response actions under analyst supervision.
FortiSOC extends the security innovations introduced during Fortinet Accelerate 2026 by integrating analytics, investigation, automation, threat hunting, and response processes into a single cloud-native environment. This enables security teams to move more efficiently from alert detection to investigation and remediation while maintaining greater visibility across complex IT environments.
The platform is designed to support organizations at every stage of their security operations journey. Smaller teams with limited resources can use FortiSOC to establish foundational monitoring and response capabilities, while larger enterprises can take advantage of advanced automation, broader event correlation, and AI-assisted investigations at scale.

FortiSOC also complements Fortinet’s existing SOC portfolio, including FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, and FortiSOAR.
