Huawei Recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure for the Fourth Consecutive Year

20/07/2026

Huawei has announced that it has been recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure for the fourth consecutive year. The company remains the only non-North American vendor positioned in the Leaders Quadrant, a recognition that reflects the technological strengths of its Xinghe AI Campus Solution in AI-driven operations, security innovation, and intelligent campus networking.

In response to the growing impact of artificial intelligence across enterprise environments, Huawei has enhanced its Xinghe AI Campus Solution with three core capabilities: superfast wireless connectivity, full-scope security, and autonomous network operations. These innovations are designed to help organizations in government, finance, education, healthcare, and other sectors accelerate their AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives.

Next-Generation Wireless Connectivity

Huawei’s AirEngine Wi-Fi 7 Advanced Access Point incorporates technologies inspired by future Wi-Fi 8 capabilities, delivering higher speeds and improved reliability. The solution is designed to provide a production-grade wireless foundation capable of supporting AI-powered services and applications.

Among its key innovations is Intelligent Coordinated Scheduling and Spatial Reuse (iCSSR), a multi-AP coordination technology that significantly reduces co-channel interference while doubling single-user throughput in continuous networking scenarios. In addition, Smart Beamforming (SmartBF) technology provides millisecond-level directional signal optimization, ensuring consistent performance for users on the move.

Huawei also introduced Advanced Same Frequency Network (ASFN) technology, which virtualizes multiple access points into a single “super AP,” enabling seamless roaming across the entire network with zero packet loss.

Comprehensive Security Across the Entire Campus

The Xinghe AI Full-Scope Security Campus Solution delivers protection across assets, connectivity, physical spaces, and privacy-sensitive environments.

  • Asset Security: AI-based clustering and device identification technology can automatically recognize unmanaged or “dumb” terminals with up to 95% accuracy. Smart Anomaly Detection (SmartAD), running directly on network switches, identifies abnormal traffic behavior within seconds and proactively blocks potential threats.
  • Connectivity Security: Huawei’s proprietary Wi-Fi Shield technology eliminates the risk of packet eavesdropping at the physical layer. Combined with end-to-end MACsec encryption and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), the solution provides long-term protection for data transmissions against future quantum computing threats.
  • Spatial Security: Using Wi-Fi Channel State Information (CSI) technology, a single access point can monitor physical environments and detect intrusion activities within seconds.
  • Privacy Protection: For executive offices, hotel rooms, conference facilities, and other sensitive locations, Huawei introduced the iGuard AP. The solution delivers comprehensive, highly accurate, and continuous detection of hidden imaging devices, helping protect both business secrets and personal privacy.

Autonomous Network Operations

The Xinghe AI Campus Solution incorporates advanced AI-powered operations and maintenance capabilities. Through iFlow end-to-end experience analysis, organizations gain full visibility into network performance, user experience, and service quality across the entire network path.

Leveraging AI-driven decision-making and minute-level fault identification, the platform can automatically resolve up to 80% of wireless network issues. It also enables rapid identification of poor quality-of-experience (QoE) issues, significantly reducing troubleshooting time and improving overall operational efficiency.

Looking ahead, Huawei plans to continue investing in AI-powered, secure, and intelligent campus networking solutions. The company will also work closely with ecosystem partners to advance the concept of the AI Campus, helping organizations improve network efficiency, strengthen security, and accelerate digital transformation in the AI era.
