Ubiquiti Introduces UniFi Dream Machine Beast with 25G Connectivity and NVR Support

15/06/2026

Ubiquiti introduced the new UniFi Dream Machine Beast – a high-performance gateway solution designed for enterprise and large-scale network environments. The new rackmount device combines routing, security, and storage functionalities in a unified platform and expands the UniFi ecosystem with a focus on higher performance and scalability.

The system is aimed at organizations that require centralized management of a large number of devices and is priced at $1,499.

Powerful hardware for demanding environments

The UniFi Dream Machine Beast uses an 8-core Arm Neoverse N2 processor running at 2.1 GHz, combined with:

  • 16 GB RAM
  • 128 GB internal SSD storage

According to Ubiquiti, the configuration is optimized for heavy workloads such as firewall processing and intrusion prevention systems. The device supports up to 25 Gbps IPS/IDS throughput, making it suitable for high-traffic environments with demanding security requirements.

Support for large UniFi environments

The new gateway is designed for high-density networks and can support:

  • over 7,500 connected clients
  • more than 750 UniFi devices
  • up to 100 HD cameras

This allows combining network infrastructure and video surveillance within a single platform.

25G networking and advanced connectivity

Connectivity is one of the key highlights of the device. The UniFi Dream Machine Beast features a total of 14 network ports:

  • 2 × 1GbE RJ45
  • 8 × 10GbE RJ45
  • 2 × 10G SFP+
  • 2 × 25G SFP28

This configuration enables deployment in environments with high bandwidth consumption and modern network architectures with high-speed uplinks and aggregation layers.

Built-in storage and redundancy functionality

In addition to networking capabilities, the system includes:

  • two 3.5-inch drive bays for local storage
  • support for network video recording (NVR)
  • dual-unit redundancy configurations for higher reliability

Ubiquiti states that the device will receive long-term software updates to reduce maintenance needs and simplify infrastructure management.

With the UniFi Dream Machine Beast, the company expands its UniFi portfolio toward larger enterprise and surveillance environments where high performance, centralized management, and high-speed connectivity are required.
