ASAP Takes Over the Technological Support of the System Behind Every Vehicle Registration Number in Bulgaria

ASAP has taken over the technological support of the System for Planning, Allocation and Control of Registration Plates and Security Documents of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) — a key national information system that is directly involved in every vehicle registration in Bulgaria.

Every Bulgarian citizen who registers a vehicle receives their registration plates thanks to the operation of this system. It ensures the planning, distribution, accountability, and traceability of registration numbers and other security documents, guaranteeing accuracy, security, and uninterrupted operation across all structures of the Ministry of Interior.

Although invisible to end users, the system is a critical digital backbone of the administrative process. It ensures that every registration number is unique, protected, and traceable, and that services provided to citizens are delivered quickly and reliably.
