ASAP built a new server infrastructure for the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy

ASAP implemented a project for the modernization of the IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, for the needs of the Managing Authority of the "Human Resources Development" Programme.

As part of the project, the company supplied, installed and configured a complete server solution, including high-performance servers, a shared data storage system, SAN communication infrastructure and uninterruptible power supply.

Infrastructure built for continuous operation

At the core of the solution is a Hyper-V Failover Cluster with shared SAN storage, which provides redundancy and allows critical virtual environments to continue operating even if an individual component fails.

The architecture includes two HPE ProLiant servers, two SAN switches, a Huawei OceanStor disk array and a UPS system, connected in a redundant infrastructure with multiple communication paths.

The solution uses Windows Server Datacenter, Hyper-V and Failover Clustering, with the individual components operating as a single technological environment for higher reliability and resilience.

The project also includes training for the MLSP team on operating and administering the new equipment – from managing the cluster and shared storage to monitoring the system and the redundant power supply.

With the implementation of this project, ASAP continues to develop its expertise in building critical IT infrastructure for the public sector, where performance, security and continuity work together.
