ASAP Built a Smart Public Transport Management System in Haskovo

ASAP successfully completed a project for the modernization of public transport through smart transport solutions in Haskovo.

The project established a unified digital environment connecting buses, drivers, the transport operator, and passengers, enabling better management and real-time information.

Some of the buses are equipped with specialized onboard devices and GPS technology, through which their location and movement can be tracked.

A mobile solution was developed for drivers to support their work along the route and provide up-to-date information related to traffic and schedules.

For citizens, ASAP developed a mobile application and web portal, through which passengers can easily check lines, routes, schedules, and the expected arrival time of public transport, as well as plan their trips.

The new system gives the Municipality of Haskovo and the transport operator better visibility into public transport movement, while giving citizens easier access to up-to-date information for their daily commute.

With the successful completion of the project, ASAP continues to expand its experience in delivering digital solutions for the public sector that connect technology with the real needs of cities and people.

The project is another step toward more connected, predictable, and convenient public transport in Haskovo.
